12.14.05 | CARLOMAGNO IS NOW PART OF THE PAISTE FAMILY.
I am really happy to announce that I am now part of the PAISTE roster of artists since this early December. I am excited and looking forward to many years of making music with these state of the art instruments.

09.28.05 | BRAZILIAN JAZZ AT "FESTIVAL MIAMI 2005"
Timeless bossa nova is the theme of this intimate and sophisticated evening featuring composer/arranger and jazz pianist, Antonio Adolfo, one of Brazil’s most distinguished musical personalities. He was part of Brazil’s tropigalia movement in the 1960s and has collaborated with greats such as Antonio Carlos Jobim, Ellis Regina, and Chico Buarque. He will be joined by his daughter Carol Saboya, one of Brazil’s leading female vocalists, Claudio spiewack, Gabriel Vivas and Carlomagno Araya . Adolfo will be performing works by Boscoli, de Moraes, Jobim, Adolfo, Valle, Nazareth, and others.

09.28.05 | BRAZILIAN JAZZ RECORDING SESSION
I will be going into the studio on the 12 and 13 of october to record an album with brazilian pianist Antonio Adolfo, the great violinist Federico Britos , along with some of my best musicians friends: Gabriel Vivas on bass and Claudio Spiewack on Guitar.
I am looking forward to this opportunity to make some great brazilian music with such experienced personel........this is going to be fun!!!

I will be touring Mexico this August with the great vibes player Victor Mendoza. It is a privilege and a responsibility to play that chair which has being occupied by great players such as Ed Uribe, Antonio Sanchez, Waldo Madera and Horacio "el negro" Hernandez.

07.31.05 | LAURENCE ELDER "SURROUNDED" REVIEWED BY MAJOR DRUM MAGAZINES
In February of this year, an album in which I was involved not only as drummer but as co-producer was released. A big part of this project was recorded at my own studio DRUMIT STUDIOS. Having the privilege of working with two of the best artists of our times, Paquito D'Rivera and drummer extraordinare Peter Erskine, was an incredible experience. We are very excited about the reports people have once they get to listen to this album, but it is equally exciting to be recognized by MODERN DRUMMER MAGAZINE (September p155) (with a four stars review!!) and DRUM MAGAZINE (June p93).....We certainly appreciate the fact that even with this being an independent effort, they took notice of its high quality..Thanks, T Bruce Wittet for writing so nicelly!!!
